Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

Just booked our BOG FP+ for Sept 4th. Thanks to the DIS I knew to refresh the page for better times! Not to mention where the site was, how to register etc etc... Thanks for all the helpful info! :worship: I don't know how we did Disney before.

I'm not sure if this has been covered, but I kept trying to log in and my account was already filled in because of my computer autofill, and the continue button was always greyed out. I finally got it to turn green by manually entering my account information.

I had the same issue and manually filling it in was the only way I could get it to work also.

You don't have to fill everything out again, just backspace and fill in the last letter or hit space, then backspace again. When it does auto-fill it doesn't recognize it and expect you to still type.

I'm hoping to make a BOG Fastpass for 9/12. I know the date to do that won't be until next week, but I decided to go to the website today just to look at site and see how it works. When I logged in with my MDE login, it didn't ask for reservation number, it took me to a screen that allowed me to select or replace BOG fastpass. When I clicked on that option, it brought up dates in November, for a trip that I had booked previously, then cancelled when I booked the September trip. Not sure why it would offer me the option to make a fastpass as far away as November, let alone for a trip that I cancelled. (I didn't click on the dates, so not sure if it really would have let me make the fastpass). Is this going to be a problem next week when I try to actually make the fastpass for the September trip? Will it, at some point, offer me the September dates? I have the 12 digit confirmation number for that trip, but it didn't offer me the option of entering it. Has anyone had this happen - any suggestions for how I might make this work?

Our family of 3 normally shares two adult QS meals and then we eat again later in the day. Will this be an issue at BOG? I have fastpass booked for all three and have confirmed meal selection for two adult QS meals. Will they have issue with that once we are in or is dining plan payment taken in advance of getting to our table? Thanks in advance!

Bah humbug. It's not working for me yet! Our check in date is Sept 7th. Should I just refreshing and trying?? :badpc::faint:

I was just going to ask if anyone knew what the latest date is. Mine is the 12th but I checked for our first day, the 7th, and I didn't see anything.:confused3

Do you still have to wait on line if you have a fast pass for lunch? I wouldn't want the people in line to get angry.

No. You check in and they'll escort you in. I'm pretty sure they're now testing a stand-by less lunch though, like they did with soarin.

Two separate lines. there is a podium on your left as you walk toward the restaurant where you check in for FP+ at lunch or ADR for dinner... The standby line is to the right.

Anyone know if you can obtain a fastpass if you're staying at the dolphin or swan? We go to the dolphin in 41 days and on MDE there's no 'check in online option' so I'm having a hard time finding my 12 digit reservation number.

This seems to happen a lot . Once the BoG FP+ system gets a date stuck in its head, it won't let go of it, no matter what changes you may have made to the reservation dates. It's still associating your email with the November reservation, even though you cancelled it. Something that seems to have worked for others is to go to the Disney website and create a new account using a brand new email address that you're sure has never been used in conjunction with anything Disney, and associate that email with your September trip. Then go to the BoG FP+ site and use the new email and the September reservation number. (It wouldn't have let you make a FP+ for November. It would have happily shown you the dates and said that there are no times available for those dates. Helpful, right?)

I fear I am having this same issue. However, assuming I am doing it correctly, the above procedure didn't work. As soon as I enter my reservation number, it says I am already registered. I might be missing a step though -- what do you mean by associating the email with the correctly scheduled trip? If I have a new account, will it let me enter an already used reservation number into it, when that is already associated with another account?

EDITED: the answer is that it won't. So is the suggestion to change the email address associated with the original disney account? I'm really lost here, and coming up a loser on all suggestions. I even have a split stay and was able to enter the BOG site under two different emails with two different reservation numbers, and it keeps defaulting to a cancelled trip.

Oh boy. I made it work, finally. Sort of. I think. I used the new account I created (the third), and associated one of the reservation numbers with it (unfortunately, the second one, so I have an extra day to wait before I can book). This had previously failed when I filled in my name, but this time, I filled in my son's name, who is the only other person in my party. It choked a bit and then somehow listed my name twice as the people in the party. But it had the right dates. Then when I tried to change the names, it kicked me out of the site. When I logged back in, it addressed me by my son's name and allowed me to fix the names of the party members. Hopefully it won't be a problem that the reservation will be in the name of a child! (Unless of course it stops offering the wrong dates on my "real" account.) Thanks for all of the help.
