I'm looking for a general floor plan of Be Our Guest. Despite all of the reviews I read and all of the videos I watch, I cannot for the life of me figure out how the restaurant is laid out. I have a lunch reservation there this September as a party of 1, so I want to get a sense of what I'm walking in to.

Does anyone know if a floor plan is on the internet somewhere?

I'm unaware of a floor plan anywhere, but basically after you go through the line and pay, you enter the restaurant into the ballroom, which is basically a huge oval room. Midway on the wall to the left is the door/entry to the West Wing, which is a smaller square-ish dark room. Midway on the wall to the right and directly across from the West Wing is the music box room....which is a rectangular room that is larger than the West Wing, but smaller than the ballroom.

Thanks y'all! It was driving me absolutely nuts that I couldn't figure out this place.

Check out the Tim tracker BOG video, they had breakfast there a few years back but it's the same layout. Nothing has changed. His videos are always good since he'll give you the whole lay of the land. It's nice to see stuff in motion sometimes to get a better visual.

For breakfast and lunch you seat yourself. For dinner you can request a particular room and they’ll accommodate if they can.

I'm hoping it's okay to revive this thread LOL. I'm a bit confused. BOG lunch is quick service, correct? I didn't think you could make reservation for quick service dining? I thought you could pre-order, but not reserve.

Second question is IF you can make a reservation, I just read you seat yourself. Is that any different than someone who pre-orders and grabs a seat?

I have never been to BOG before so it's all new to me. Thanks in advance!

BOG is quick service for breakfast and lunch, but you typically need an ADR to get in. The restaurant is in very high demand. You can only pre-order if you have an ADR.

You usually seat yourself, doesn't matter if you pre-order or order at the restaurant. They did seat us at one lunch last trip (September 2019), but not when we went back again later in the week. They said they were "trying something new".

As you walk into the main room, the self serve drinks are on your right for breakfast and lunch.
No matter which room you dine in, you can walk around and look at the other 2 rooms.

That's interesting that they told you they were trying something new in September because they were seating all parties at lunch when we were there in January! That was a first for us because we've seated ourselves every other time!

BOG works differently than a typical QS restaurant. While some people report being able to walk up and get in, it usually requires an ADR. Breakfast and lunch are quick service and you seat yourself, regardless if you preorder or not. Dinner is table service and they will seat you, no preordering for dinner.

I had heard people report being seated on here before, but had never experienced it myself until last trip. We've probably eaten there a dozen other times and always seated ourselves. The restaurant was probably the least crowded I have ever seen it, too. There was no line at all for regular ordering, we waited longer in the pre-order line.

Wow, that’s very uncrowded! It worked great for us because we had a party of 14 so we didn’t have to scramble to get seats all together!

There is a big difference in pre-ordering (what is done at BOG when you already have a reservation booked) and mobile ordering (what you do at other quick service restaurants to avoid standing in line). While BOG is treated as a QS, it is really more of a hybrid. Order from your phone or at the counter, but your food is brought to you.

It was so weird I had to take a picture. This was around 11am on a Sunday.

Thank you so much folks! I'm really glad I asked because I have learned something new. I didn't realize BOG allowed ADRs for quick service lunch. I'll keep that in mind when we get to our ADR reservation days.
