Be Our Guest Commercial (mentions FP+)

I don't know if this has already been discussed, but I just saw this commercial for the first time last night. At the end, it says enjoy FP+ during our test....wonder what that means exactly?

I just assumed that it means that they're still considering it to be in testing phase. And yes, I realize that all guests are able to use it now, but maybe they want to see how it works in various crowd levels before they start making changes. (Maybe I'm being naive, but I'd like to think that they are going to increase the number of FP+ reservations you can make in one day and that you'll be able to make them at more than one park on the same day.)

It means what they've been saying all along, FP+ is still in testing. They've been consistent in referring to FP+ as a test. What does it mean for the system? IMO little to nothing. They might as well be calling it a rollout.

I don't think your naive...I absolutely believe they will open up hopping and increase the number of FP+ at some point in the near future. But, I think tiering will remain in place.

I am hoping for the same.

But the pessimistic side of me thinks: maybe its free to "test" now and you might have to pay for it later. I really hope they don't do that.

I don't think you have to worry about that. For extras? Maybe. But I don't think Disney is going to directly charge for the base 3 FP+. They want people to use them so they have concrete Disney plans before they leave home.
