I was just poking around on the dining reservation site and using dates end of August, first week of Sept. I had each and every dinner date come up with availability. Seems like it's much easier to get a table now.

We are going in October and the window hasn't opened yet, but I'm not so concerned anymore. It's a fabulous place and I was looking forward to returning.

Are you having the same experience??

I got an ADR tnite for next Weds (3/20)-- our 1st nite !!!

I had been checking for months !!! The same day also had plenty of other time slots available--- they had to have released tables--- couldnt all be cancellations-- at least I dont think so !!!

I was able to find some for a friend today. We were struggling to find any spots in the last weeks. We were even able to get a table for 8!!

Still no luck for me (early August). Will keep checking. Thanks, helps me to be a little optimistic.

The novelty will wear off eventually, especially for lunch.

I've been trying for weeks to get something the last week of August and no luck so far! I'll keep trying but I guess I'll have to accept we might not get to eat here. Maybe by then lunch will be less popular as I'm just not willing to stand in line for ages to eat there. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Not sure about the lunch (havent tried it yet), but I think its going to be a pretty tough dinner ADR for quite some time---

The dinner is really magical to many people-- I guess you can make the CRT Bfast comparison, which was a pretty tough ADR to secure for a long time---

Does anyone know what the restaurant hours are for lunch...especially what time it closes?

Not true for me, been checking daily for 8/28. I'll keep trying though...

Remember that BOG does not take reservations for lunch! It's counter service up until their dinner start time. We are going in July and just hope to get in for lunch because my CM said when I called to make an ADR that they were booked until August for dinner.

Thank you for giving me hope for our trip during the next week - I'm looking for 3/25 or 3/28!

I agree. Just as Le Cellier, CRT, PSB and a few others are still hard to get.

I've been trying to get a better end of August ADR for BOG and was told yesterday that they overbooked in August and won't be releasing any cancelations with the hopes that they will catch up to the over-booked numbers.

I suppose it never hurts to keep trying tho.

We are going August 31st through September 16th and have had NO luck in getting a dinner ressie for a party of 10. Oh well, will be saving something for next year I guess :)

Both times I have eaten there for lunch, we got in line around 1:00-1:30 and waited less than 20 minutes to get to the ordering station. This gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu and decide on what to eat. Don't be discouraged if the line goes all the way down the bridge, and don't believe any CM who tells you it will be 45-60 minutes - the line moves pretty quickly, and I have heard multiple reports of CMs exaggerating the wait times (presumably to keep too many people from getting in line and creating crowd control problems).

They have been cutting off the line between 2:00-2:15 each day. This ensures that everyone currently in line will have time to order, eat, and leave so they can prepare the restaurant for dinner. They don't rush you at all, and it's very nice being inside the restaurant once the doors close and the sunlight isn't streaming in :)

I didn't even bother with a dinner ADR. I'm just going to do lunch there. I may have to wait in a short line, but I figured I would get to see what it looks like and not have to waste an ADR doing it. Incidentally, it looks like the desserts are nearly identical for lunch and dinner...

The desserts are exactly identical :thumbsup2 The Grey Stuff is only offered at dinner, but it's not something you can order. It's given to those who are celebrating something (birthday, anniversary, etc.).

It appears like a they just released a bunch of May reservations today, at least for the week of May 12-19th. I've been checking at least once a day for weeks and found nothing. Today there were openings around 4:00 and 9:00 almost every day that week. There are still a few available now.

We got on the line at 2:10 today and there were people behind us. I didn't see them cut off the line, it likely was not too long after us. We waited about 15 minutes to place our order and we were not rushed at all. It was wonderful. We heartily recommend the onion soup.
