1 May 2003: Castle Stage upgrades

The front of house stage lighting upgrades at the Castle Stage are now complete. There are now 32 brand new lighting fixtures (16 on each side) mounted onto a military grade air piston tower reaching 40 feet into the air. Grad Nite '03 will be the first event to use these new fixtures in show, and they look AWESOME! They can easily light up the stage twice as bright as the Castle itself. AND, plans are now in the works to build two more towers behind the stage to give the stage true back light. These new towers are planning to be built in the moat, alongside the ramps behind the stage. They will be enclosed and totally unseen by Guests, until they are uncovered and raised into the air.


Maybe anyone going in June can give us a first hand report!!

What they have there right now for Grad Nights is really ugly. I asked a CM if those ugly things were going to be permanent and she told me they were just there for Grad Nights.
