be honest.....

If I'm wearing a tshirt, whether at home or at Disney, its either Florida State or Disney. That's basically all I own tshirt wise.

Wear your stuff. I always take my ears and wear them around the park. It is so much fun. I was fortunate enough last year to get a pic with Mickey and Minnie at MK while wearing my ears!! It is in a frame on our entertainment center!

Also, my family has matching Disney shirts and we wear them and have a family photo taken!!

I love the tiarra idea. I may have to bring mine in June. Never thought about that before! princess:

Do it! We did last year, anyway. My GF wore a Pooh shirt on our first day at the MK, and a CM at the Haunted Mansion stopped her and told her in a very grave and somber voice , "You know, you have POOH on your shirt." ;)

Thank you GarrettJD! This has been a bad day but you just made me laugh. That is hilarious!!!!:wave2:

I like wearing Disney stuff at WDW. I say go for it! Maggie

I may be a bit obsessed, but I am never seen in public without something Disney on me. Worst case senerio would be work(I have to wear a uniform) or formal occasions, which I have to settle with just a Mickey watch, but there is always something Disney on me.

One of the funny moments, in requards to that subject, happened when we where in the airport getting ready to depart for another one of our WDW vacations. I was in my usual Disney attire, T-shirt, hat and jacket. Some people approached me asking if we had just got back from Disneyworld. My wife had to respond with,(I think somewhat embarassed) "No we are on our way to Disneyworld he just always dresses that way."

I am a big dork!

I wear my disney stuff to the parks, on casual Friday, most of my jammies are disney....

Ok, I'll find any excuse to wear my disney stuff!

I'm just like Scott and Steve: I'm always wearing a Disney thing. That includes at work::yes:: I don't own many articles of clothing that don't have something to do with Disney. Some are more subtle than others, but I'm always "sportin' a mouse";)

My DH and I wear our I'm with Grumpy/I'm with Dopey shirts for the trip down. The first person who said anything was the CM at the podium at Boma. I have matching Stitch shirts for the family to wear on the way home.

I wear my Disney stuff all the time. My students think I'm nuts. For Homecoming I even wore my headband Minnie ears since our colors are red and black :) I don't think my DS and DD will like that much when they get to high school though:crazy:

{FIRST HONEST POST}

Depending on your size, age and description of "disney attire" - well, yes, you will look like a dork.

BUT,
1) The chances of you running into anyone who actually knows you is very slim.
2) You only live once

Wear and enjoy. If nothing else, you can feel "proud" of the notion that your picture may be posted on bulletin boards throughout the world.

I too ALWAYS wear my Disney stuff at WDW; I make sure to have enough WDW t-shirts...I was in DLP last month on my honeymoon, and I couldn't believe how FEW people had on Disney gear! Also, my husband has a Mickey WDW hat that he only wears in Disney Parks, but me, I wear my t-shirts all year, whenever t-shirts are appropriate!!
(I also wore my Minnie Bride pin while in DLP...I couldn't get my husband to wear the Mickey groom pin, so I just kept it on my lanyard)

My husband and I have Disney look-alike sweatshirts and Disney look-alike t-shirts that we wear at the same time.We usually wear them on the weekends and during vacation time.It drives our sons crazy. We tell them that's why we wear them. But it's not.We just love Disney!:Pinkbounc

I wear my Disney stuff at WDW, shirts and jewelry and I wear it to work to..Known as the WDW lady, so count me as dorky one there too please..I love it.....: :jester: :jester: :jester: :jester:

well, yes, you will look like a dork.

How can anyone look like a dork at WDW? This is something I just don't understand. If I started worrying about looking like a dork by what I wear, how could I ever ride Dumbo again, or dance during the Jungle Jamboree Parade or scream on Tower of Terror? Those may sound like dorky things to do, but we do them because we want to have FUN! So gimme my Mickey Ears while I woo hoo on Aladdins Magic Carpet ride, wearing my Goofy T-shirt and Minnie Mouse Flip Flops!

Well - when I see someone (usually a woman) who has obviously spent a LOT of time putting together an "outfit" that would look perfectly wonderful for church or a nice dinner party, I think they look pretty clueless and dorky.

I know it's none of my business what others wear but you know you've seen these people who do not have a clue what WDW entails and of course they always have on bad shoes too.

Sure, you will look like a dork but you are at WDW so it is 100% ok to be a dork

I wear my WDW Castle T-Shirt and my Disney Pin Laynard and to the horror of my DW, knee high white socks (helps to stop sun burn)

I am quite sure I look totally dorkish

thanks

LOL! I thought everyone was talking about how dorky it is to wear Disney clothes at WDW!

I'm pround to stand up and be counted as a Disney Dork, not wearing dinner party clothes, but Disney clothes!:D

For Mother's Day, I got a pink canvas backpack with a small Disney Princess icon on it!

I think it's weird NOT to wear Disney clothes at WDW. I have a whole stack of Disney tshirts, my great leather Disney jacket (of limited use in Orlando), and misc. other Disney clothes.
