Hey all,

Apparantly, if you don't call 180 + 10 days ahead, it's difficult to get ADRs, and walk-ups are almost impossible (except when you're a blonde happyhaunt, and do some maffia-practices with the Le Cellier hostess! ;) )
I think it somehow means WDW needs some more restaurants.

Now, this is your chance, be creative, the sky is the limit! Where would you like to see what kin of restaurant, what food should they serve, is it a character meal, CS, TS, buffet, something else?

I your new idea means you'll have to take the most beloved attraction/ ride out, don't worry, we'll pick the ride/ attraction up, and put it down somewhere else!!!

OK, I'll go first.
I think it could be great to have a restaurant on the top floor of the Tower of Terror, in the style of the attraction (twenties? thirties? whatever...) You take up an elevator, and then have a dinner served with a view of (what can you actually see from up there?)

I'd really like to see a "fine dining" restaurant in the castle in the MK!!!!

Hanging over a precipice, in the middle of Kali River Rapids, there needs to be an authentic Indian restaurant -- everything served as thali, no forks or spoons (you eat with your hands, naan and leaves), and no chairs (you eat sitting on the floor).

A typical thali:

Yes! I totally agree!

How about a new dinner show on property in the genre of Medievial times. Eat w. no hands, big show........Maybe have a pirate theme with Jack and Barbosa......I don't usually have a car while I am there so kind of tied to the property. However I would not mind doing something like this. I know there is Hoop de Do. Cute. But I like the pagentry themeing of ME and Dixie Stampede

A wine flight restaurant, perhaps plopped into the USA portion of EPCOT. The restaurant would be upscale and would feature fusion cooking, blending the best of international cuisine into a dynamic menu. Each meal would limited to a prix fixe menu and would be accompanied by a flight of wines selected by a sommelier to be paired perfectly with the courses. Such a place would finally add a quality TS to the USA. Inexpensive? No. Exciting? You bet. ;)

Villians Character Meal

I know they once had one and shut it down because little kids were scared. I think they should bring it back with a clearly posted rating (something like PG6 - characters could be scary to younger children). There's really nothing out there which is appealing to boys, older kids, and even adults the way this one would be.

I'd like to see a huge restaurant built near Downtown Disney that would be home to any character meal anyone would ever want. They could just keep rotating characters. This place would be huge and would be the only place on property to have character meals. Then, they could return CRT, Akershus, LTT, and every other Disney restaurant that has been turned into a character restaurant back to its original character-free status.

Isn't it sad that if you are unaware of all the rules your family is completely out of a character meal. I feel if you are staying or visiting the parks, the resturants should be 50/50.

I will take ANY good asian restaurant in WDW... :) other than Chinese and Japanese (which are just mediocre at WDW... I wonder why).
Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Korean, Indian, Vietnamese... anything. It doesn't even matter to me where they put it, put it somewhere and I'll come if it has good food. LOL!!!

Oh, I do love this thread!! Wow, I can remember places that were there before, someone help me with the rest. that was in Adventure Land,oh, my brain is not working today. Ok my fav's so far:

TOTOT (top of tower of terror) :earseek:
POTC pirate:
Villians and poss. a nod to Haunted Mansion! :maleficen :hmghost:
Have it set up like the ballroom and have ghosts serve you! Too fun!!

Keep 'em comin' This is great!

You know how when standing in line for Splash Mountain before you get on, there is a tv that shows the photos of people going down the drop? How about a restaraunt where they have all of the ride's picture tv screens set up all over the place so you can see everyones faces on the rides.

My vote for a Villians meal and something Pirate themed.
I also wish Disney had a either a Cold Stone Creamery type place or a Gelato Shop like at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. That place is awesome.
And a good "Jewish-style" Deli would be great too.

Redo Pirates. Have a restaurant like the Blue Bayou on one side of the takeoff channel, and have a Pirates of the Carribean Character meal on the other. That would be cool. While we're at it, let's build a restaurant like the Rain forest for ithe Jungle cruise to run through. Except this one would actually serve good food. I'd also put in an Incredibles Character meal. Hey, you can't go wring with Mrs. Incredible.
And I'd also put in a Toy Story Character meal.
An Indian restaurant in WS. Or a Thai restaurant.
Return Akershus to Norweigen and buld something for the princesses in the American area.

A Villians meal would be great fun, and could be easily set up for Halloween ( Disney need to do some "different" meals, to get repeat holiday makers to pay the extra $s to eat on site)

Perhaps an adults only "ball to enable ladies to dress up.... of course fine dining here.

Some pirate and princess meal would be fun.

I cant believe that MGM has no character meals, and that AK has do Table service resturant ( except Rain forest cafe, just outside)

I also love the idea of a resturant on top of Terror Towers!

What a great question to ask uss all........ hope Disney read this !

I'd love to see a resturaunt in the Asia section of AK that serves Indian food. Also, I love the ToT idea (but how about us ToT wimps-how do we get up there?)
