be careful when shedding those clothes at the beach

went out Fri for a few hrs while DS was in school
wore my new tankini and while sitting in the beachchair rolled up my top
well this is new fresh white skin that has never been exposed before
I did put sunscreen on but that was later after I started feeling the burn

OUCH!!!! It's wise to put the suntan lotion-highest # possible-on before you feel the burn.

I decided to try a tanning booth because I want to get a "base tan" before heading to Vegas last month. I started out with 5 minutes, but on the 3rd day the lady talked me into 7. That was Friday - and I'm still burnt to a crisp today. I learned my lesson - I'll be wearing factor 45 in vegas, lol.

For those with scars - make sure you wear the highest protection possible on your scars because sun will make them thicker.

Remember it takes 30 minutes for sunscreen to start working. So, if you wait til you get to the beach, you'll be unprotected for those first 30 minutes!
