BDL...what is this abbreviation?

How was it used? The only BDL I know of is Bradley Airport in Springfield/Hartford, Ct.

Okay, okay, it's a BDP code... I am getting closer to 40 and i have these, errr, dumb moments now!

So, any chance someone can clue me in now?

This post makes me laugh for so many reasons:

1) Like the poster, I'm approaching 40 (which actually does not make me laugh, but at least I'll be at WDW when "it" happens);

2) I'm flying out of Bradley -- airport code is BDL;

3) There are so many code words on these boards, that I can understand your confusion. However, here's the answer to your question about what the discount code BDP means:

BDP is the "room-only" code that became available to the general public on October 22. It's for 1/2-4/16/05 with supposed blackouts for 3/11-3/13 and 3/17-3/19, but we were able to get discounts on these dates, too. FYI, there is an alternative corresponding code for packages.

If you already have a room only reservation (or if you want to make a new reservation), call and see if there are still rooms available at this lower rate.

Others can tell you how much they saved. We're staying at the Poly. and already had a reservation. Called on 10/22, and the code lowered our room price by $128/night.

Isn't it so good that we can laugh about these changes!

We are all set, we have used the AP code for our upcoming trip. Probably the code messed me up because I thought we weren't allowed to used the specific codes on Pete's site. I thought it was a shortened version of some new website or something.

Unlike you, I will not be celebrating my big 40 at WDW. My bday is on a major holiday and, well, you what WDW is like then! We are renting a cottage on the coast instead, can't wait!
