Southwest and Jetblue round trip is at $250. Any chance will come down to $200? Miss Delta going non stop. Last year paid $190 RT.

Agree with you on the missing Delta - we always took their non-stop first thing in the morning and the last returning non-stop at night. Last year we got our round trip on Delta for $178 and then upgraded to first class at check in. We are booked on Southwest for our Aug. trip - first time - did early check-in so we don't have to bother with the whole 24 hours check-in. We are currently at the same price you came up with. That is down $50/ticket from we first booked. Called and got a credit for all of us when the price went down a little. Hopefully it will come down some more. We booked when the price was at something we considered okay so we wouldn't have to worry about it going up and just keep checking to see if it goes down. With the price of gas going up I don't think the price will be coming down by much since most of the airlines are raising prices to cover the gas increase. I still wish Delta would bring back their non-stops but they said they weren't making any money on the flights. Not sure how that is since every trip we went on they were full both ways.

I just flew on my first jetblue flight from bdl to mco and it was great. Having the direct tv made the flight go by fast.

With both airlines you can apply for a credit if the price goes down. I had one credit on my flight to mco and have had two credits on flight frok dfw to bos which i used to buy a third jet blue flight

Thanks for your response. Good to know both offer credits. I'll wait a little longer and decide.

They probably were not making money @ $178 a ticket. If they raised the price, they would have lost customers to their competition. So they walked away figuring they could use the plane on other routes where they could make money. This happens often when you have several airlines on the same route competing, rather than having a fare war, they walk away.
