I lost the thread I found a few weeks ago discribing the gentlemen that stands to the left of the turnstalls that is charge of picking people to be in the parades that day can anyone help? Since my first time in at age 6 I've always wanted to be in the parade for my b'day..celebrating the BIG 40 Oct 28 with Mickey and thought maybe I could make this wish come true!!

I don't have the answer to your Question, but if you go to Guest Services at the park they will give you a pin that says Its my Birthday!! Its great! i got one at Epcot and my brother has one from Magic Kingdom from our recent disney trip! Its great to celebrate your Birthday in Disney!

From what I've read over the years, the person who picks people for the parades is not always near the turnstiles. He could be anywhere along Main Street. It is not the same person every time. Your best bet is to take your time walking up Main Street. It seems like the best time is between 9am and 10am. Talk to the CMs along the way that are dressed more like management types (shirt, tie, etc). Be friendly and look like you are really enjoying yourself. Even so, it is just a matter of luck.

Good luck!
