BD or Sci-Fi & Fantasmic

Okay, I am stumped. We are going to SSR the week before x-mas & I can not decide if I should keep my BD Fantasmic package at 3:40/ show at 7pm ( no late show) or try Sci-fi at 4:15 and wing it.

I have heard that the late Fantasmic show is easier to get into standby, is this accurate?? I was considering Dec. 23rd.


Right now I can only get a Sci-fi ressie for an evening w/ only an earlier showing of Fantasmic. If I choose this how long do I have to wait in line for a seat?

Thanks, we definately don't want to miss the show because we have never been.

I also wouldn't mind hitting the parade that day.

The meal that we had at the BD was our favorite on a recent trip. We got a later ressie by calling 30 days before our trip. The Sci Fi dine-in is fun, but the food isn't very good. On this last trip we had a very light lunch there. Even the sundae wasn't very good.
