BD at Biergarten

Hi. My DH will be celebrating his 38th BD this Dec. and wants to eat at Biergarten (we've enjoyed it many times). Has anyone done a BD there? Did you order a cake in advance from the Disney bakery or from the restaurant? Did the restaurant do anything special for you otherwise (sing, perhaps?).

Anything you can tell me would be helpful.

Not at Biergarten, but when I made my PS for Liberty Tree Tavern, I told them it would be my son's 5th birthday and requested a cake. There is a $9.99 charge, but for me it is worth it since he is worried about missing his "birthday party" at home. Little does he know that we will be going to the MVMCP that nite to celebrate his birthday!
