BCV Water pressure

I have read about water pressure problems at BCV. Is this a regular problem. We will be reserving for June '04 soon.

I was there last Dec and the water pressure in the shower was terrible-I ended up having to rinse the shampoo out of my hair in the sink. Hopoefully it's better now.

A great deal of people's perceptions of good/poor water pressure depends on what it's like where they come from. When I was at BCV last year, had no complaints at all about water pressure. But then, our neighborhood has a reputation around the city as having the poorest pressure. Last summer I was at a hotel in Illinois and felt that the water pressure was so strong, it seemed to sting my skin. People used to pressure like that would probably complain bitterly about the poor pressure at BCV.

I've stayed at the BCV three times and found the water pressure each time to be at least adequate. It's not as strong as the pressure in my home, but it's not the chinese water torture either.

As Simba's Mom suggests, the water pressure issue is due either to vast differences in folks' perceptions, or it is a problem confined to certain units (or maybe even floors?). If you find it to be a problem, put in a call to engineering. They may be able to do something about it right away (like clean out the shower head)...If not, at least it will be noted, and if enough members staying in the same unit/floor/wing complain, they will eventually address it.

I just stayed on the 2nd floor and the water pressure was fine.

Just stayed on 4th floor. Water pressure was fine. I've read the complaints on the board too but either they've fixed it or some people want to be pressure-washed.

Stayed there October 2002 and January 2003 and the pressure was fine both times.

We stayed on the fourth floor two weeks ago and the water pressure was fine. I even had a wash in the washer one morning while we were showering without a problem. Enjoy

I think Simba's Mom makes some good points. I worried about the reports before making our first visit. So far, the water pressure has been fine for us--we didn't notice any difference from home. We stayed at BCV last NYE (first floor) and then a couple of weeks ago (second floor).
