BCV Villas, as far away as they look?

We are staying at BCV for the first time in May. After looking at a property map, it looks like the villas are pretty far away from everything including the pool and the bus stops. Are they really as far as they appear on the map? How long does it take to walk to the bus stop, or the pool?

The BCV shares the check-in area with BC resort, and they are actually attached to each other. The Villas extend on a wing off to the left (facing the BC) with BC rooms and stuff going to the right. BCV has a quiet pool, but if you want SAB, it's not too far really. If you're at the far end of the villas, you will have the longest walk. It's not far. When we stayed at BWV we walked to SAB to swim when pool hopping was allowed there. That was a longer walk. The bus stop is just outside BC check-in desk and portico and to the right a bit (as you face BC). It really wouldn't take you much more time to walk to bus stop as those who are staying at BC, maybe couple of minutes, or a few if you're at the far end of the villas. It's all an easy walk.

I think the bus stop is actually closer at the BCV than most of the BC. If you walk down the hall toward the parking lot and go out the end door or go out at the pool and hang a right, it is only a very short walk.

The only walk which is a hassle is the walk to SAB. Not because of distance but because you have to cut through the main lobby.

Not long to walk at all! Walking to the pool is almost all indoors if you like, or you can walk outdoors and go in the main entrance. The bus stop is an easy walk as well. We find it very convenient. I've stayed four times now, and have enjoyed each visit.:earsgirl:

Before BCV was built we stayed at the BC. A lot of the rooms are as far, if not further, than the Villas to both SAB and the bus stop. Didn't stop us from loving it there. We bought BCV ASAP!

If you cut across the parking lot from the Villas to the bus stop, it's a short walk. If you cut through the hotel lobby, the walk to SAB isn't far. BTW, if you walk inside the building, you have to go through the lobby to reach SAB from most BC rooms not just the Villas.

It's not a very long walk to SAB from the BCV but a tortuous walk.
You have to walk through the BCV, then outside then through the lobby of BC to get to the pool.
I walked to SAB past Cape May Buffet and sometimes there were large crowds waiting to be seated for dinner.
And all the while I was in my bathing suit.
I always wear a t-shirt or something over my suit but it still is not my favorite thing.
I like to put on the suit, and get into the water as quick as possible. The less people who see me in my bathing suit the better. And feeling the guilt for all those appetites I ruined is too much for me to take. Peggie

Hi there,

I realise that many people do not like to walk nowadays, but here is some times estimated, having spent several weeks there on the fourth floor.

Bus Stops:3 mins including elevator.

SAB: 4 mins via hotel lobby, ok so it's not great through the lobby but you can avoid it.

Boat Launch to MGM/Epcot: 6 mins again via lobby and a nice walk in the morning.

Epcot Entrance: 6 mins great after fireworks.

Have a great trip.
