With BCV, you are not booking there for the views. Most people book there to get access to SAB or to be real close to Epcot. The BCVs were built on the former CM parking lot at BC. So you get a pool view with the parking lot just beyond, or you get the courtyard area looking towards the BC or you get the road that goes by the BCV or you get a woods view of the back of Epcot.

BCV isn't known for it's views. The villas are behind the BC between the BC and the BCV's parking lot. Here are the possibilities:

View of a road and or service area.
View of the quiet pool with parking lot beyond.
View of a wetland area full of trees.
View of the grass area between the BCV front door and the BC lobby area and the BC front door.

we stayed at BCV and got lucky. we had a WONDERFUL!! viewl ir was pool view. technically, we were facing the canal, with a bit to the left, the pool.
the colors of the bldgs are such nice pastels.. so cheery! we just loved it!
the courtyard views wouldn't be bad. as we walked along the back walkway to epcot, we walked past the rooms with woods view. nothing great to look at , but not a "bad" view eithr (ie. parking lot) I HATE parking lot view.
ps. as we checked in they told us we ahd a courtyard view room (it was morning) we had requested pool view. yes, it's ONLY a "request". but I nicely asked if there were any pool views. he siad, yes, but it's not ready, you would have to wait. :woohoo: "we;ll wait!!!" we waited about 45 minutes!

Thanks I think I will request a pool or courtview view. I really don't care that much, but I would prefer not to look at a parking lot or service road.

All pool view rooms that I have had, also had views of the parking lot. Each view, IMHO, has its drawbacks. There are no great views.

Poolview also looks at parking lot.
Rooms with a woodsview/canalview overlook the service road.

The rooms are very nice, but the views ar not great.

Ok thanks I won't expect a great view. Were staying at BWV in October and I'm pretty sure cash customers get pool or garden view no boardwalk view. I wasn't sure if BCV had a certain view they put their cash customers in.

BWV has three booking categories. Cash stays get booked in the largest category - preferred non-BW view.

BCV has one booking category. Period.

I love the courtyard view - great people watching opportunities and the BC building is so pretty. I'd get up early and have a quiet cup of tea on the balcony and watch the CMs come and go, the bell services stand, groggy guests heading to get coffee.

Ahh... I miss it so.
