What view do you recommend for BCV since thay no longer will accept a request for an Epcot view? They claim that an attraction is partially blocking the Epcot view so they no longer will allow you to request it.

Thanks

The attraction blocking much of the Epcot view is Soarin'. Having ridden it last week, though, we can forgive it. It's a great ride, one of the best at WDW!

For our last trip, we decided to take the advice of the UG and request an odd numbered room between 229-251, 329-351, 429-451 and 529-551. These view the quiet wooded area on the southeast side between the BC and the BCV. We got lucky, and they were able to put us in room 531. We had to agree, this was a great choice. There is relative quiet there, and (at least on the 5th floor) you can still glimpse some of Epcot and even the Boardwalk. This is definitely worth a try.

I don't have an earlier experience to compare it to, but we were in room 367 (over the canal) in Feb and were able to enjoy the upper fireworks from epcot. So what would we call that area now.... road view?? :teeth:

Most of the times we've stayed at BCV, we have ended up with a pool view, just by luck. It's anice view, and they ahve cute little ducks that wander around the pool area and sometimes swim in the pool, especially in the early AM and at about 5PM.

Once we had a wooded view, overlooking the woods that separate the BCVs form the walkway to Epcot...that was nice too, very peaceful, nice to relax on the balcony and look over the woods.

The woods view is my absolute favorite; you can hear the music (faintly) from the WS in Epcot.

If it's fireworks view your looking for I don't believe that Soarin blocks the view if you have a woods view, particularly from rooms such as 320(1BR),322(studio),324(2BR) or the corresponding rooms on the 4th floor. Studios 325,327 and 231 should also be OK as well as 1BR 329 same for 4th and 5th floors.

Cute, until you notice the not so cute things they leave on the bottom of the pool!

We just stayed there in I think it was 544. We had a great view of Epcot and the fireworks - not blocked at all.

That said, we have had a pool view and a view of the gardens (could see the Tower of Terror in the distance). I liked those views better.
