BCV two bedroom?

Is the two bedroom a true two bedroom or is it a one bedroom connected to a suite like at VWL?

There are 2 true bedrooms - one master suite and one additional bedroom containing a queen size bed.

It is called a dedicated two bedroom. We just came back from the BCV and we had one bedroom with a king size bed and the other bedroom with 2 queens.

There are 3 types of 2 bedrooms at BCV:

Lockoff - 1 bedroom plus studio
Dedicated - 2 bedroom with 1 queen and 1 double sofabed in the second bedroom
Dedicated w/2 queens - 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom

You specifically reserve which type.

VWL has both lockoffs and dedicated w/2 queens.

The 2 bedrooms with 2 queens are held for DVC points reservations. So you could get a lockoff or a dedicated with 1 queen and 1 double sofabed in the second bedroom.

this was going to be my next question. We stayed at VWL and it was not clear that they had dedicated 2 bedrooms it appeared to me that they were all lockoffs. This was before I understood a little about DVC.

So if DVC reserves the two bedrooms then if Im renting point can I get the two bedroom?

If you are using points, your own or rented, you could get a dedicated 2 BR. But there are only 25 I believe, so it's not guaranteed that you can get that.

Some resorts are all lockoffs for 2 BRs I think - I think I've seen that said about BWV, but I don't recall VWL.

VWL has both dedicated and lockoff two bedroom villas.

We had a dedicated two bedroom last year with the 1 queen and 1 sleeper in the second bedroom at the BC. We booked through Disney. We are booked to go back this Aug. (AAA package with discount) and we have requested the same villa that we had last year. We had a great view of the pool and easy access to exits and very convenient to wherever we needed to get.

I had one of those rooms on a cash booking once as well - in the corner kind of overlooking the pool. They are considered the oddball rooms since they are dedicated 2 BRs, but don't have 2 queens in the 2nd BR due to the configuration of the floor plan.
