Thanks for the interesting trip report with lots of new ideas! I'm sorry your plans for a big family reunion ended up fizzling (seems to happen to lots of us) but I'm so glad that you and your family had such a special time! I'm sure those who have been concerned about the run of negative BCV reports we've been getting will be reassured by your positive one.

Hey Terri! I was just thinking about you! Glad your trip was a good one. I too have booked a large group that dwindled. I envy your One resort one uy for all the cancelations!

We are staying at BCV in OCtober... I think we arrive when your leaving!

Maybe one of these days our trips will coincide and we can do that Illuminations dessert gathering together!

LOL on the license plate. I saw that in the parking lot of the "local" mall once and wondered if that was your car!

I have 3 more trips planned down this year.

July at SSR for a DCI show
August at a moderate for a friend's birthday
December 8 - 12 to meet up with friends for our annual holiday celebration

Oh... I want a card from Mickey and Minnie on our anniversary trip! Cool! MS did put anniversary under requests on our confirmation so maybe we'll get lucky, too!

By the way, we did the Family Tour, too last week. Not real crazy about the first part (We had a full group.), but wow! that Peter at the end was FAB! Academy Award winning performance for sure!

Laura.... Thanks for thinking of me! Sorry to hear your big gathering is dwindling. We made the best of it and did a lot of things we wouldn't have done if we did have the big group so we really did have a great time. My mom cried several times throughout the trip (happy tears) so I knew I was doing something right? I don't envy you having to try to figure out cancellations from different use years and different home resorts, but I do envy the fact that you have that 11th month window at different places !

Pinnie, I would love to have a Dessert Party together sometime! That would be fun. I enjoyed that soooo much I would love to have one every trip! If only I could find a good enough excuse to spend $400 on ice cream and a spectacular view of the fireworks. By the way, thanks for stopping in to see me at the store.

Shan... I agree, Peter Pan really made the event for us and for our kids, especially since the kids had no clue they were going to see him, I had also negleted to mention it to my husband, so he really enjoyed that surprise as well. We did really luck out in that it was just the 4 of us that signed up that day.
