Sounds just like our trip for my DH's surprise 40th bday....he sure got a great present.....Somehow we ended up spending $12,000 for his birthday also...but yeah ...we got lots of cotton candy!!!!

How is it that all of us are always so happy when someone else joins us in our DVC choice? I think that is one of the great things of being in the DVC.

westjones, you'll soon find out that 150, although fine, will soon be insufficient! WDW doesn't offer a vacation -- it offers memories! 150 doesn't offer near as many memories as 300+! We'll all be looking forward to your next post on your add-on for more points!!! ;-)

So true. so true! We started w/170 and now after 2 small add-ons we are up to 295! I still do not feel this enough with every new resort that opens! I feel I need the 11 month advantage.

Maybe we can set up something on the trade board if people are interested to trade their 11 month booking option with someone else who has that option at a different resort. Otherwise I will be adding on , and on. Although I have never had a problem w/ the 7/11 window. So, I guess I really just want more points so I can keep going home.

Welcome home! I'll be visiting your new home on Sunday for an 8 night stay. Congratulations on your spontaneous purchase. We did the same thing with VWL! We haven't regretted one minute.

Oh, and the backpack, and 150 points!

We are just signing the initial paperwork and fed-exing it back.

Same thing happened with us. DH kept steering me away from the "umbrella stands" but I finally detoured at the Boardwalk and the next thing I know, DH is pulling out the credit card for the deposit.

Yippee! Can't wait to make my first ressie!
