BCV=shabby

We are staying at the BCV as I write. We are really disappointed in how shabby everything appears...the rooms, the hallways, the elevators. Everything looks like it needs a good cleaning, a fresh coat of paint and some updates. In our room for example, the fan does not work in the bathroom, the bathroom door lock is broken, the toilet paper holder is falling off the wall, the upholstery on the chairs is ripped, and the carpet is dirty.

We love staying here because of the pool and the proximity to Epcot. Does anyone know if BCV is due for an overhaul or maybe just a facelift?

Did you call maintance to have the broken items fixed?

Did you call maintenance while you were there to report the problems you found? Whenever we have stayed at BCV and found a problem, we called Maintenance and they fixed it the same day.

OKW just got it's first refurbishment and it was opened in 1993. BCV wasn't opened until about 2000. So it may have a few years yet before they do a refurbishment. Member dues pays for any replacements, refurbishments, etc and they are on a schedule.
