Just got back from our very first Disney vacation as a DVC member. Stayed at our home resort, Beach Club. I wasn't expecting just one queen in one bedroom and one king in the other bedroom. I must have missed that when learning about the DVC program. Since returning home I've read that there is 20-25 two bedroom dedicated villas that have the two double beds in the second bedroom. Wondering if anyone has stayed in one of these that can say if it was in a good location by the main villa elevators that I can reference when booking our next years vacation?

Also, how much of a hassle is it to switch resorts during the week? Thinking we might stay two nights at AKL and then 5 nights at BCV. Does Disney transfer the luggage?

We did a split stay at BCV and BLT in May and it was very easy. They will pick up your luggage from your room, and you can call them for delivery of your luggage at your new location, after 3 p.m., I believe. My family really enjoyed visiting 2 resorts.

First off there are 25 - 2 dedicated two bedroom villas that have two queens in the second bedroom not full size beds.

This is a booking category that you have to book when you make your reservation and they go very quickly.

Disney will transfer luggage but you have to be prepared to be without it until after 3pm or later.

As to the hassle many enjoy the move, we don't. You basically are without a room on the move day that you are paying for the entire day. We would rather simply stay where we are.

We just came back from having a dedicated two bedroom with 2 queens. Room 333, very convenient to elevators!:thumbsup2. That's the one request I always have.

We just returned and had room 451. As far from the elevator as you can get. We requested 333, 433, or 533. They are great locations. We have stayed in all three of them. We hated the location of 451, but they were full and we didn't let it impact our enjoyment of the trip. We also never had hot water in the master shower although they made three attempts to fix it. The best we got was Luke warm. Everything else in the room was fine.

I think we had 351 once or something close. WAY down the hall. We also like those rooms in the 30s area.

I have reservations in May for a 2 bd with 2 queens. I would live an upper floor Epcot view. Does anyone know a room number that I could request?

It's best not to request a room number. Chances are very small that any particular room will be available when you check in and they will just stick you anywhere. Keep your request just as you wrote it above, upper floor, and it's called woods view not Epcot view. There is no category named Epcot view.
