BCV room layout???

Hello everyone,

Well, we are just about ready to " do it". You know take that step to buy! Just a few quick questions - I have not seen the Beach Club yet only drawings. Does anyone have a floor plan of the rooms? Is it similar to BWV(as far as room size)? Do you have only preferred view or does it also have standard(to cut points)? Has anyone bought Beach Club sight unseen ? Will the points per night be similar to WLV?

We are going down in May, but would like to start the paperwork.

Thanks for any info or sites to get more info.

all villa are preferred view so the points are the same as VWL

when you ask for reservations - say Epcot side with a view of either WS or FW you pick - for in my opinion the best view -

I read on another thread that someone was unhappy with their puchase of a unseen DVC.

Why would you spend over 10k and not personally take a look at the property?

We bought at Vero sight unseen and are very happy with our decision. We also bought at BCV, although we've looked around the hotel side of the resort. I guess the incentive is the draw right now. And for us, it was being able to schedule a christmas vacation with our DVC points at both the BCV and VB.

At this point, with 25% of the BCV resort sold out, most people must be buying sight unseen. Somehow I don't think we'll be dissapointed.

denman007... We bought 800 points "sight unseen". Although, we have been to the Beach Club so we know the area and we did see the villas while they were being constructed. We have also been to the BWV so we know the basic layout of a DVC Villa and we did see the pictures of the models before we purchased. So technically we did buy sight unseen but have a pretty good idea of what we are getting into.

Chances are you'll be happy with your purchase. This is Disney were talking about.

I've heard horror stories about other timeshares with people losing their $$.

My point, though, was that I would never spend 12k on something without physically seeing it in front of me - even a new car.

btw, is there a spell checker here somewhere?

Well, just call me a "trusting fool", but I bought BOTH my contracts (BWV and BCV) sight unseen. I had friends who were very happy OKW owners. I had looked at plenty of pictures of OKW and BWV, and really had no doubts whether or not I'd be happy with BWV. Our first stay as owners was actually at OKW (which we LOVED), but we went over and looked around BWV while at Epcot. That made me even more excited to have bought there.

Have never yet been inside Beach Club, but again I'm very secure in my choice to add on there. Guess I think pretty highly of Disney quality! I have not had even one moment of doubt or regret.

I became an owner in May of 2000, and will FINALLY stay at BWV for the first time in Dec. of 2002. Then I'll be right back in Feb. 2003 to try out the new digs at BCV.

TNdisneymom, best wishes as you pursue DVC ownership! By the way, unless I overlooked something, I didn't see any spelling mistakes in any of your posts here. So no need to apologize!
