First of all, any help greatly appreciated.

Going to BCV this June first time as DVC Owner, super excited, went last year to CSR with DW and DD7, DD5, DD3. Stayed on ground floor near marketplace, so everything in excellent walking distance.

Question is, when it comes to BCV (we have a 2BR), am I gonna want to be in the wing nearer the Cape May Cafe, Beaches and Cream, SAB, and therefore nearer a bus stop for traveling to the parks? I guess I'm trying to ask, if that is even attainable when checking in, or should I have tried to explain that to MS when I made the reservation. I was guessing that anything closer to EPCOT was better. Just wanted to know if anyone had any opinions on the subject.

Thanx again.

No matter where you are at BCV, you have to walk to the central elevator to get to BC. So I'm not sure there's any place at BCV that's closer to Cape May, B&C, etc. Lately, I've been asking for Courtyard view. That's usually close to the elevators, but in a wing off to the side of the elevators, so it's fairly quiet.

okay first of all you are walking to epcot, taking the boat or walking to studios.

the villa are just about as close to the bus stop as BC.

have you seem a map?

BCV is not a big resort - so nothing is far.

but yes if you want to be closer to Epcot - then ask to be near the BC.

If being close to the BC resort is your 1st priority, request rooms at the west end of the resort or near the main elevators. Rooms like 101,102,104,107,123,124 and the same numbers for the 2nd 3rd or 4th floors.
These are all 2BR units and are the closest to BC lobby and bus stop. If you have a car they are the farthest from self parking, you'd probably want to use valet.
The 123,124 would be the closest to EPCOT.

I like the pool view at BCV. It's not a huge resort, so nothing in it is very far away from the BC hotel.

We just got back from there. I always ask for a 1st floor, closest to the lobby. This puts you close to center of everything. I would agree with Disney Doll though, there really isn't any room that's too far away. The only negative thing about BCV that I seen being on the 1st floor is that if you need to use the laundry, it's on the 4th floor. I doesn't seem you have to worry about that though since your getting a 2 bdrm.

I have been on the "far end" of the wing at BCV (it's great for people with cars...really close to the parking lot). It was, at most, a 1-2 minutes walk to the lobby (not including the elevator ride...but, that never took long either). The BCV's are so tiny....there really isn't a "far" area.
