Someone recently posted that they were told the refurb will be starting either next week or the following. Sorry I don't recall the exact date but I know it was not until next week at the earliest.

Just found the info - 1/22 is apparently the start date.

Just returned yesterday. No work except the Christmas Decorations were taken down Thursday night. I have to say the room (533) was in much better condition than I expected

What particular order do they do the rooms.. floor by floor? top to bottom or bottom floor working its way up? Curious because we are looking into booking here in Aug and we get a 2 bed HA room which is always the first 2 sets of rooms over looking the quiet pool. hoping to get a renovated villa if we choose to stay here

No, there isn't room for a sleeper chair in the majority of BCV rooms. The door to the connecting studio or second bedroom is in the living room and that means the pull out chair could block that exit from that room. Not exactly safe if there is a fire.

I've only stayed in one BCV 2BR lock-off but it had the connecting door by the front doors, not in the living room. I thought that was the typical BCV layout which is a bit nicer than VWL and BWV which have the connecting doors in the living areas. But maybe it's just some of the rooms?
