Hi All,:)

We will be staying at the BCV 2 bdrm this summer - our 1st stay at the BCV - we are very excited! But I have a few ?'s please.

1. My ressie states that the 2nd bdrm has a sofa bed and a queen bed - can I assume that this will mean we have a 2 bdrm lock off(1bdrm w/ a studio)? I hope it does!

2. If I look at the room maps of the BCV and they list 1 bdrm, stds, and dedicated 2 bdrms - if we are going to have a lock off 2bdrm - would this mean were the 1 bdrm and stds are listed we might get a combo of these?

3. Tell something you love about the BCV - I have searched the boards and found a number of horror stories - I don't take them to heart as the same horror stories were on the boards when I was looking into staying at BWV - and SURPRISE! 4 BWV stays later and no complaints! - But a few good words goes a long way:goodvibes

Thanks for any and all info

There are three types of 2 bedroom units that are reservable. Lock-offs and Dedicated's with a queen and sofa bed will both have this bedding. The catagory that doesn't is the Dedicted 2 bdrm w/2 queens. I'm not sure what wording they use on the confirmations but if I was guessing, I would guess that you have a Dedicted 2 bedroom with a queen and sleeper sofa in the second bedroom. I would think that they would state Lock-off for those units. Maybe someone else knows this and can give you a definate.

Here are a few of my favorite things at BCV:

1. Stormalong Bay
2. The easy walk to Epcot and walk/boat to MGM.
3. The light and airy decor of the BCV.
4. The convenience of the Marketplace to refill your mugs or get gelato.
5. Sitting on the beach at night looking at the lights across the lake at the BW.
6. Having many restaurants within walking distance.
7. Mini golf within walking distance.
8. The activities on the Boardwalk just across the lake.
9. Jogging or walking around Crescent Lake in the mornings.
10. Art, the Greeter at the BC.

Have fun!

I love everything about the Beach Club...It is my favourite DVC..I have booked 2 bedrooms many times, and I always specify a lock off. The one time that I didn't specify, I got a dedicated 2 bedroom. In a dedicated 2 bedroom, there was no microwave, fridge or toaster. I forget if there was a coffee maker, but I don't think so. I guess because it actually IS a 2 bedroom, then they assume everyone will be using the same kitchen and eating area. Works out better if you are all family, but maybe not so well if you aren't.

What did you book? Unless you booked a lock off, I don't think they give them to you, unless a dedicated is not available.

When you booked if you did not specify, then you get a dedicated.
