Hi all,

For you've that have stayed or own at BCV, is there any special request of where you stay in the building? I own at SSR and request Congress Park or DTD view when I check-in. I usually check in early, before going to the parks and normally get my requested room later in the day.

Since there isn't any different views like BWV, I was wondering, do you ask lagoon view, pool view, etc. at check-in?

My first time at BCV, I'm so excited about the pool (SAB).

I appreciate your help.

Thanks!
Julia

Good luck with any requests at BCV!

when traveling solo I try to avoid first floor.

otherwise anything is acceptable.

not lagoon view or views of SALB. these are only at the BC. the villas are over behind the BC - closer to the parking lot.

Oh, okay, didn't know that. Like I said, it's my first time at BCV. It's already really nice to be so close to my favorite park, Epcot. I'm looking forward to this stay.

Thanks!

That's the way to think... you're room is going to be home. The pool is going to be the best. And to top it all off... you can just walk to WDW. Don't worry too much about your view... the room is mainly for sleeping! :thumbsup2

If you like to be down low, I would ask for a treed view, because some of the rooms are very close to the pool or parking. Otherwise, I would simply ask to be on an upper floor.

I also ask for an upper floor room when I'm solo. I've enjoyed the Courtyard view on solo trips (those rooms overlook Ariel's statue), because there's always something to see going on when I sit out on the balcony.

I also enjoy the courtyard view, but I've never asked for anything but non-smoking.

Our nicest view/room was this past Mother's Day weekend, we had a dedicated studio on the 4th floor. We could see some of Illuminations and hear the British Invasion. We didn't hear any road noise and we had the largest balcony imaginable!

Bobbi :)

I also like the upper floors, I kinda like the quiet pool view, when I'm solo (which I will be in 4 more days) I tend to prefer closer to the parking lot because I use the car alot. When I'm with the family I like to be closer to the BC lobby. There really aren't any bad places unless you wouldn't want to be close to the road. Each area has it's good points and bad points.
I have always had very good luck with my request, some times you have to be a little more persistant with the CM to get what you want, they do try to work with you.
Have a great time.

I can't believe you are staying someplace other than BCV in May 06 come on :confused3

That was this past May and no I didn't stay at BCV though it wasn't my choice, My DS, DIL wanted to try something different so we did. I hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon.

I wasn't all that impressed with VB, but I did think VWL was pretty good, I probably would do that again someday.

But for now I am quite content with BCV, I'll be there from 9/2 - 9/7 and again for Thanksgiving this year. And have at least 4 trip planned for 2007 so far, all at BCV.
