BCV Purchase Questions - Points this year and use year?

I have a couple of quick questions regarding BCV. We are getting closer to a decision to purchase 250 points at BCV (our first DVC purchase). First, if we buy now (we are going to use the $5 incentive to buy at $70 per point), will we have 250 points following the closing for use this year?

Second question - which use year can we choose? Would it have to be a use year which starts after the current month, or could we pick, for example, Feb. to be our use year - get credited with 250 points for 2002, and then get 250 more points in Feb. 2003?

When they first started selling BCV they had all use months available. If you didn't ask for a specific month you were given February, this gave you February 2002 points with new points on Feb 2003. They sold all of the alloted Feb use month points for new members and moved on to March, which would give you March 2002 points, sometime at the beginning of March. February is still available for add-ons but I don't think for new purchases (this was my understanding when I called to do my add-on last month). Hopefully someone here that purchased in the last week or so can tell you if they have moved on to April use month yet. The only thing I can suggest is if you really are ready, the sooner the better.

They don't always go with the current month, when I first looked into DVC I was offered a use month 6 months prior to the month we were in, but that was because that use month was not sold out as of yet. This was when they were selling BWV which was not a pre-sale so that my be why this is different.
