BCV positive report? Please?

We have stayed there several times since it opened, although it is not our home resort. We've never had a major problem. That's not to say soem folks haven't had major problems, but we never have.

I also tend to take care of things immediately when I do run into an "issue", and I find that the few times I've had issues (mostly minor) at any resort, a quick call to the proper department usually gets them fixed quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly.

I was flipped by the negative posts last year, and I was on pins and needles bringing friends down for their first WDW visit. Well, after 3 stays at the BCV, I can report only terrific experiences. Sandie B

I've stayed at BCV 7 times since joining in 2002, never had a serious problems with rooms or CMs, only other guests (like leaving garbage in the halls or stairways). If people took care of things like they would their own homes ther wouldn't be any problems at all.
It seems odd that there are so many unhappy owners, but it is still the most desirable of all DVC properties.

If there are so many dissatisfied owners maybe we'll see an increase in resales there, I hope so, I wouldn't mind picking up a 100 or so additional points.

I don't live in Perfectville and I don't expect it when I travel. I expect problems to be dealt with and they always have at BCV.

To me this poster said it all. I travel a great deal on business and I've stayed in a wide range of establishements. I suppose this gives me some perspective on what to expect when I am on the road, and that includes being on the road for vacation. The bottom line is that everything isn't always perfect so I don't expect perfection at BCV or any place else.

We've stayed at BCV 4 times now and other than some very minor things that were taken care of promptly, I found that BCV exceeded my expectations every time.

We are going again in mid October with my brother and his wife and despite some of the negative feelings about BCV I have no concerns at all about going back in October or any other time.

I've stayed at all but two of the Vacation Club resorts and so far Beach Club Villas is my favorite for more reasons that I care to enumerate right now.

We own at BCV and stayed there for the first time in March. We loved the location and the pool, and found our view of SSE "out of this world!" I posted a report, my only real complaint was poor water pressure but our pressure at home is incredible so we are rarely happy at hotels, especially during peek shower times. We will be at OKW in early October and can't wait! We really look forward to trying all of the DVC resorts, but we are definitely happy to have BCV as our "home!"

Like people say, expectations. Read the negative views, and decide if that would bother you, or just be another part of the adventure(I went into SAB and got sand on me sort of thing ). Decide if that person was unlucky, or if it looks like everyone is going to experience this problem. Did it cause 30 minutes of inconvience, or 10 hours, etc.
