BCV - need suggestions

Hi everyone, Received my confirmation yesterday and surprisingly we did get the studio at BCV. I know that request are not guaranteed but for those who have stayed here can you give me suggestions on room request (certain floor, proximity to pool etc.) We have never stayed there and would like to know if any studios have balconies that we can request. Also anything else you can suggest or recommend for our trip would be great. We are takin gour 5 year old daughter for the first time!! Thank you!!

I think the BCV's are all great and my only request would be NOT to be facing nor near the 'frontage road' if you plan on having your sliders opened or sit on the patio. I love the fact the BCV's are set off on their own and you can park next to them and not be dependent on the valet service. We had a sandwich and some gelatto at the Marketplace and liked both-sandwich was good because we didn't have to go to some restaurant to just get something small to eat. Lots of folks utilized the community rooms throughout the BCV's.

If a balcony is important request a large one at the tim eof booking. Some are so small you can only just baout stand on them. We had a dedicated studio last time and this had twice the wardrobe space and a large balcony. It faced the quiet pool/road/carpark but was just fabulous.

None of the views are spectacular at BCV. We usually ask for non-handicapped, non-smoking, quiet location (to avoid road and "quiet pool" noise) and leave it at that. It usually nets us a high floor and a so-called woodlands view which is peaceful and pleasant.

I like the pool view at BCV personally. I also like the wooded view...the one where you overlook the wooded area between the walkway to Epcot and the BCVs.

I don't think an Epcot view is the best view there, because it is a road view, noisy, part of it overlooks a maintenance area, and you don't get a great view of IllumiNations. You see some of the higher IllumiNations fireworks, but it's not enough for me to want a view of the road or a dumpster.
