We have an almost 6yr old, 4 yr old and 20 month old. We're in BCV (studio)may7-12. I think a ground floor may be wise due to the 20 month old boy (escape artist). we're new to BCV. always at CR and love monorail, just roll the stroller on and off. Busses concern me w/ stroller and 3 kids. Any tips for busses/ launch? I hear the walk to Epcot monorail is too long to do every time? True? Does anyone have any particular places to request when we check in BCV. Like, close to quiet pool, or is ground floor easy to get? What areas of BCV are closest to lobby? Getting nervous. The little one makes most trips a little more difficult than before.(we're outnumbered w/ 3)

Remember there is lots of water around (pools, the lake). With the 20 month old, I would not do a ground floor if the patio doors open to no railings.

if you want a ground floor - ask for one not facing the parking lot (pool) - these are a little below the path way - I don't like people looking in at me.

if that doesn't bother you - then go for it!

I would be very hard for a child to get to the swimming from these room.

Of course there is not a lot of privacy with these rooms either....

no I think ground floor are easy at BCV because lots of people would gather have the view from the higher floors.

which type of BCV room would be best for the little guy, ground floor ( possible get thru door) or balcony ( or worse go over balcony) what are the upper floor balconies like? Railings he can squeeze thru? High enough to not climb over? And which are the most convienient for walking to lobby, pool and epcot. Which rooms would be farthest from traffic? Can we do this!! My little angel is a real challenge for me right now with 6yr old and 4 yr old.

I think you will be fine at a higher floor - WDW knows about child and makes it resort (on the whole) child safe.

yes they have rails on the balcony.

No - I don't think you child can get through them. Nor without help can he climb over.

You may have to remove the chairs (when you and your husband aren't sitting in them) - if he is determined as my brother was.

We stayed at the BCV's with our then almost 2 year old. The balconies worry me too, but you should be fine.
The first floor would be nice for you, maybe request one as close to the lobby as possible for easy access to everything.

The busses can be a challenge with all the "baby" gear and stroller. My advice is have your stroller folded, bags all set with whos going to carry what before the bus gets there. This should make it much easier to get on. Our little one would fall asleep every night on those busses, it was nice.

Good Luck and Have Fun!!!
