BCV for Christmas '09!!! Update 1-4-10 We're back!!!!!

Well the moment was priceless... the 7 year old's face was fantastic.. the 12 year old was just kind of stunned...the hunt went really well, all of us really enjoyed it. We leave in about 2 hours... thanks everyone for the well-wishes and kind words. It will be a fantastic trip! I will try to post a quick TR when I get back..

Hard to find the right adjectives to describe our first trip to Disney during Christmas. It was one of the best Christmas experiences of my life!!! It was just me, my lovely wife, and my two beautiful boys.. along with our favorite place to be on earth!!!

I can honestly tell you.. I don't have really anything bad to say about it... the trip was near perfect for us...

Online checkin at 10:30am.. took 2 mins.. our room was ready.. all reservations were great.. holiday illuminations.. and wishes.. the castle lighting..all the beautiful decorations at the parks and resorts, the gingerbread carousel in the lobby, the gingerbread house at the Floridian, the Osbourne lights.. the deluxe dining plan.. the beach club villas.. transportation...

All of it was simply amazing..

We are blessed..

Now it's time to plan for our Mardi Gras trip to Universal Orlando.. and our return trip to Disney for Summer 2010!!!

That sounds fantastic! And it sounds just like how I could describe our Christmas at BCV last year! I'm so glad you had a wonderful trip! I myself will be at the BCV (only for 3 nights though) in 4 short weeks!

We took our first Disney Christmas family trip at WL in 1994, My wife, son and daughter. We had such a magical time that we have done it 5 times since. The days leading up to Christmas day are amazing. My children are now married but we are planning to go again next year....they have been told. Glad that you had a good time!

Man, we spent a few hours one afternoon at WL.. it was beautiful!!! My wife has already mentioned that we need to go back again next year.. we shall see.

I'm just having a difficult time adjusting back to work again.. blah!!! Hard to get back into the routine of work when you've just come back from Disney!!!
