We are staying at the BCV for the first time in 11 days...:cool1: I would love any advice or recommendations. Especially room requests. Right now our only request are non-handicapped because we need a bathtub for our children.

On our first stay at BCV, like many 1st timers, we requested an "Epcot" view. Granted you could see some of the taller Epcot fireworks but that view puts you overlooking the fairly busy road that encircles the BWC/BCV area, (Epcot Resorts Blvd).

Since then we request a room overlooking the quiet pool. That puts you between the two elevators, (not a long a walk from either one). The quiet pool is a nice view and never gets too noisy.

You will love SAB. It will be busy so be prepared to show I.D. to get in to the pool.

Have a great trip.

We like to be on an upper floor if we can. On our first visit to BCV we were on the first floor and didn't care for it. It's very different to sit on a patio vs. a balcony. The location was great but we ended up not using the patio at all. We realized that we'd rather sit on a balcony at night or in the morning and take in whatever view we have. We never knew that it mattered to us until that visit. So now we always ask to be on an upper floor and have always gotten it. Let's hope we're lucky again this July...

We had a 4th floor woods view and loved it!!! We had a great view of the EPCOT fireworks!!

I agree NOT to get a 1st floor . . . just walking by those patios one day felt really weird, like I was invading someone's privacy . . . much too close for my tastes!!

We stayed at the BCV in March and LOVED it. One thing to keep in mind - we were on the top floor - and some of the balconies of those units have lights that CAN'T be turned off. So we couldn't use the balcony at night because of all of the bugs that were attracted to that light. And then I didn't really WANT to use the balcony the next morning because of all of the bug "cadavers" on the furniture and the floor. It was actually pretty gross.

I of course didn't let that ruin my trip. But if you are big balcony person, you may want to ask about the lighting situation for it during check-in.

BTW, our room number was 545.

Hope that this was helpful.

This has been VERY helpful... I don't mind pool view. I would prefer that over the road view.

How many floors is BCV?

I think BCV has six floors.

And take some time to chat with Art the Greeter in the Beach Club Lobby.

Five floors although the fifth floor is smaller than the others.

I asked for near the main elevator last spring and was only 2 doors down. Great location.

We stayed at BCV for the first-time last Sept. in a 1BR (#210). I'd requested to be near the elevator and to have a large balcony. Our room was overlooking the quiet pool, right next to the atrium and near the elevator (altho' it wasn't noisy at all). The balcony was huge compared to others we could see and we had coffee out there every morning. We ran over to Epcot each night to watch the fireworks so we didn't mind that we couldn't see them from our room.

Last week we returned from a 17 night stay in a dedicated 2BR (#323). This time I requested a pool view, near elevator with large balcony. But the pool was closed all but the last few days so they gave us a room overlooking the lawn between the marketplace, and the villas. We had a large balcony but didn't use it much because it was too sunny (great for a tan!).

BCV is our favorite resort now - I just wish we could transfer all our points over from OKW.

You will love it there - have a wonderful time!

We've always received good room locations when we check in early. We've had to cool our heels waiting to get into the room, but it's always been worth it.

I second the quiet pool room request.
