BCV Elevator Noise

Because I'm old, I always ask for a room near the elevator. At Beach Club, the room assigner gave me exactly what I asked for. The room next to the elevator was a case of "be careful what you wish for". Never again!

This is exactly what I was wondering about. Does the elevator noise problem seem to be unique to BCV or is it a problem at all resorts if you're near the elevator?

I think it is an issue on some level at Yacht Club, Beach Club, and BCV.
