Anyone on the wait list for BCV via direct buy? What UY? How many points? How long have you been waiting or how long did it take to get points? Locked in at old pricing?

On the wait list since March 19 for 50 points with a Dec UY. E-mailed my guide today to ask. Where I was on the wait list. He didn't tell me - just said he hopes they'll acquire more points soon. I'm also on the BLT wit list for 50 points. DVC sold about 19,000 BLT point (versus about 1500 or so BCV points) last month so I can't imagine BLT will take long. Still not sure ill even keep the BLT points - may decide to wait for now as I can't help but think we'll want Poly DVC and I can keep buying points, as much as I'd like to!!!!

Not on waitlist right now. Guide could not say how long waitlist is & I don't want to wait long. Trying to figure out how long the wait would be.

On WL as of March 17th for 125 Aug UY, but told them we would take 50, 50 & 25 point contracts as they came up. Here's hoping we all hear something soon!!!

First time poster, long time reader.

I've been on the WL since 2/23 for Sept UY 180 points with one person ahead of me for 50 points. At the time, my guide told me 6-8 weeks and assured me it would be done in time to go on my annual September trip.

I talked to her this week and she said there hasn't been any movement, and that she has no idea how long the wait will be at this point.

I am hoping they are moving as fast as they can . I am sure they are getting tired of people calling them .I was hoping it would be 6-8 weeks but now I am thinking other wise. as long as its before Oct that is when we plan on booking our vacation for next year.

$115/point. Kicking myself for not also joining the VWL wait list. It's old price, I believe, was $102/point.

Yes Disney charges closing costs (something new in the last year or 2) I am not sure how much I have read about 100.00 on a 50 point contract and NO you do not get previous years points you get CURRENT year points. If you were to buy from them today and your UY was June you would get all 2012 June points since you are in 2012 UY and would get 2013 points June 1st. Disney would bank the 2012 for you at your request. If your UY was March then you would get 2013 points and have to wait until March 2014 to get more. Many who were on the WL for March UY got their points at the beginning of March so were only given 2013 points if the points were available Feb 28 then they would have gotten 2012 and 2013 points I have to wonder if the points were available in Feb and Disney just waited.

We have been on the WL since Feb 1, I think, for 60 points and an Aug use year. I wanted the extra points for our stay at NYE. As it stands now we have to move to SSR for the last two nights of our stay. That's not really terrible as we love SSR, however I did not want to move. Our guide said we were locked in at the old rate for 6 months. Has anyone else been told that?

We are locked in on the old price of $115 at the BCV. We have been on the list since Mar 11th with an Sept or Oct use year

We were also told that the price was guaranteed for six months from when we went on the waitlist and we went on March 19th...currently waiting for 100 Oct UY BCV points. We are hoping they come available before the lower price guarantee runs out. If they don't come available before Oct and we are not receiving 2012 points with the deal, we will decline and look for a resale. We don't want these points for anything other than priority booking at BCV.
