Just made ressies for a 2 bedroom at BCV. I requested a 'dedicated 2 bedroom'. Are all 2 bedroom units 2 bedroom units or are the a combo of a studio and 1 bedroom?

Unlike the BWV where there are no dedicated 2BR units, the BCV has some that are dedicated and some that combine a 1BR and a studio.

There are 2 kind of dedicated 2 bedrooms at BCV. One has a queen and a sleeper sofa in the second bedroom and one has 2 queens in the second bedroom. You have to specifically reserve the rooms with 2 queens. Then there are also lockoffs, which is a 1 bedroom + studio. You actually reserve the category, it's not a request.

Yep, what Debbie said!

Here are the number of rooms for each type...

53 dedicated 2bdrm w/Queen & sofa
25 dedicated 2 bdrm w/2Queens
74 2 bdrm lock-offs
20 dedicated 1 bdrm
36 dedicated studios

.....between "dedicated" and lock-off in terms of location/view/layout/balcony size/anything?

A lockoff can be turned into a one bedroom and a studio. A dedicated two bedroom can only be a two bedroom. The second bedroom in a lockoff has another door to the corridor, plus the kitchenette. The dedicated will not have the door to the corridor, not the kitchenette.

A dedicated studio will not have the door to the one bedroom. At the BWV, these are called Studio Plus and have an upholstered bench that might be used by a very small child for sleeping. But you can't request those anymore and are just the luck of the draw. The bench is sometimes referred to as a daybed.

The Dedicated and Lock-off two bedrooms seem to be equally scattered thoughout the resort. There is not difference view or balcony.
