BCV concerns

Thanks to you all! I really AM excited for this trip! I spent a lot of time reading/researching and felt that BCV would be perfect for us. I hope the weather mid Novmeber allows us to spend time at SAB....it looks wonderful and my 7 year old daughter will have a ball!

We would like a quiet location (5th floor?) away from elevator noise, service areas, and traffic noise, etc. We don't need an Epcot or pool view.
We have a 1 BR reserved.
Any suggestions??

We just walked the grounds of BCV about 3 weeks ago and she looked spotless! Common areas were clean and polished. Even the furniture looked great.

There is a reason why BCV resales are pretty much gobbled up very quickly (if they ever even come up for sale)! Also, I heard AAA just gave the BCV it's four diamond award. I don't think a poorly maintained resort would receive that honor. Don't worry, have a good time.

We were there for one night last Satruday and I too walked around the resort looking for all the dirt and broken items reported on these boards. Alas, I could not find any.

I just stayed at BCV for the first time last month. It was great!!! The room was spotless, the outside area was perfect. I wouldn't worry about anything. I have been going to Disney for 10 years now and have never had a problem with any room. IMO, I think people post more about what they think is wrong with the place then people who love it. My Aunt and her family have been staying at the BCV for several years now and have never had a complaint. My cousin and her family have been staying there for 3 years now and also never a complaint.

Have a great trip!!!

We stayed at BCV for 8 days last month and had no problems with housekeeping or maintenance issues. The only problem was the remote for the tv in the living room was missing. Called front desk and they brought one right up. Sure there were a few stains on the carpets, in the rooms and hallways, but there were stains in BC hallways too. Sure, we've stayed in hotels that did not have stains in the carpets. However, we need to remember that those type of hotels have a lot fewer kids stay in them (most of their guests are couples or business travelers). At Disney hotels, there are kids in almost every room every day of the year. It's probably a little unrealistic to hold them to the same "wear and tear" standards.
