BCV and Storm Along Bay

Yes you can bring your own noodles & IMHO opinion you are much better off just doing that. They don't allow personal floats, but they do allow noodles. The lazy river is not that great (certainly not like Blizzard Beach) and I thought the float rentals were a joke. I don't remember the cost either, but certainly a few dollars more than the noodles I bought at Winn Dixie & we had them for the whole week! ;)

I sat in the sand digging with my kids for hours a few months ago and found it interesting to see the rules enforcement. Perhaps they are posted somewhere, but we just discovered them through trial and error observation.
Floats/rings are 3 or 4 dollars to rent hourly more for the day. All were already rented when I tried. A noodle was $4 to buy.
We saw several noodles lying around. We thought they provided them for guests. After seeing them lying there sporadically we finally realized most were particular guests own noodles. People must just leave them there sometimes to avoid packing them to take home. It is hard to tell if someone has abandoned them or if someone has left them there as bait and then floated 20 feet away to see if you'll try to use it - they'll then snap at you (sort of like a catch and release).
Do not step foot in the water with a drink in your hand. You'll get called out quickly.
NO boogie boards! Totally illegal.
Don't try to catch your kids coming down the slide. Actually don't even get NEAR the slide exit unless you like being fussed and stared at.

Glad to hear the lifeguards are doing their job and enforcing the rules. :thumbsup2

I have mixed feelings about this one. On the one hand, it's dangerous both to the kid and the parent. On the other hand, I hate to interfere with Natural Selection.

The lifeguards at all of the pools we've visited (including SAB) do a fine job. They really take their jobs seriously, and we appreciate their diligence in protecting some visitors from themselves (or their parents).
