Is it worth it to purchase the refillable mug if staying in a villa? If so, if I read correctly, they can be refilled at Hurricane Hannahs & Beaches & Creams?

Thanks

Yes refills are available at B&C,Hurricane Hannahs and also the rip-tide lounge off of Cape May Cafe'...they had free refills for the mugs for coffee on the little continental breakfast that they set up in there;)

As for is it worth it? We got one and used it while at the pool everyday (stayed at BCV's this past Oct.) but we like having the mug as a souvenier too...you really can just get soda and drinks to keep in the fridge in your villa for less. Plus if you're there when it's busy, B&C especially can have terribly long lines to have to wait for that refill...they don't have self serve like at the food courts. If you're one who would be spending the $$ on buying sodas from B&C or HH's anyway then it's worth it. We also tend to not think to grab drinks ahead and think of it while sitting at the pool "wow ya know, I need a drink" comes to mind after getting hot sitting by the pool and then who wants to walk back up to the room? So it all depends on if you would think to bring it with you in the first place from the villa I guess. We also only get 2 mugs though...if you need more like 5, I'd rather spend the $$ on a case of soda and make sure to bring it with me.

we like them as souveniers also, use them once we get home all the time. So we probably with by a couple. There is a continental breakfast? We have never stayed at BCV before.

I guess in effort to offer something in the way of "quick breakfast to go" they had set up this small continental breakfast in the rip-tide lounge. It was just really coffee, bagels & muffins...not really a huge selection but good to grab coffee on your way to the park or a muffin. All they currently have at BC/BCV's itself is B&C,Cape May CAfe' and the small groceries available at the gift shop you can get and make up in your villa and I don't think they have B&C open for breakfast items anymore . I don't know if they'll continue the continental thing at the Rip-Tide for much longer though as I hear they are currently referbishing the gift shop at BC to have some kind of small fast food place comparable to Roaring Fork over at WL.:confused3

We were there last August and unless something has changed, I would say save your money. The lines to have it refilled at B&C and HH were always so long (its not self serv). Our kids love buying the mugs and getting refills, but at the BC it was more trouble than it was worth.

I would have to say no at the BCV. First off its a hike over too HH and Beaches for refills from the Villas area. Then you may have to wait in a long line. The rip-tide refills in the morning worked okay for us , but that was about it.
