BCV AGAIN or try VWL??

We are DVC and always stay at BCV, because my kids LOVE it there. I want to try VWL but am afraid we will miss the Boardwalk and IG, which we take advantage of a lot. Opinions? Thanks!

We feel the same way about the Boardwalk area. We LOVE BWV but wanted to try a new resort too. We ended up doing a split stay. We did BLT for the first 3 and BWV for that last 6. It worked so great that we are doing it again in 2013..So you can do MK while you are in that area. We enjoyed staying in a different resort but oh how nice it was to get babk to the BWV. This time we'll try AKL at the beginning of the trip. We can't wait!

While we enjoy the occasional stay at WLV I wouldn't switch if you really love BCV, especially if the major attraction is easy access to Epcot.

We are the same. Stay BCV every year it's our home resort. Sometimes tempted to try something else but always end up BCV. IG and SAB too much of a draw for us.

My parents are BWV members so we tend to stay there a lot and it feels like home to us. That said, a trip to VWL is very special! I absolutely love the resort. From the moment you walk into the lodge, you know you are in for a treat.

You get a whole different "feel" from a Disney vacation when staying in the MK area than the Epcot area. I'd give it a try, change is good sometimes. Plus, your next trip you can return back to BCV!

I love both of those resorts! Sometimes we do a split stay and plan our Magic Kingdom days during our stay at the Wilderness Lodge. Then we visit Epcot and Hollywood Studios while we are staying in the Boardwalk area. You are right, the proximity of walking into Epcot or taking the boat to Hollywood Studios can't be beat. I never find the move to a new place too stressful during our vacations. I just feel like we are getting two vacations during one trip! Have a great vacation!
