Hi all, we will be staying in a 2BR lockoff at BCV in August for a few nights with family before moving over to BLT. My question is (since a dedicated was not available): will 6 adults and 2 children (6 and 3) be comfortable in it? DH and I will have master bedroom, probably shared with the 3 yr old. No other couples, grandma, my mom, brother and sister. Any experiences?

The room will have:

One King bed in master bedroom
One queen bed plus a full-size sofabed in the guest bedroom
One queen sofabed in the living room

In other words, there are only two actual beds in a lockoff with the other two being convertible sofabeds. You'll have to discuss with your party their level of comfort.

I will add that DVC sofabeds are a unique design which are much more comfortable than your typical residential sofabed. Most people claim they were quite comfortable on the sofabeds. Given the makeup of your party, it sounds like you will have at least 2 adults on sofabeds so make sure they are OK with it.

I was just in a 2 br lock off last week. The sofabeds are very comfortable there. Not at all like the old fashioned ones.We had room 329 and 539. In one sofa slept 2 teen girls, no complaints. I slept in another one and I am a big girl:rotfl: and I was very comfortable. Have a great time. I love my Beach Club:cloud9:

If the adults don't mind sharing beds with each other and/or with kids, you will have enough room. It may be a bit cozy, but you will have enough beds for everyone as long as everyone is flexible about the sleeping arrangements. We had 3 adults and 3 older teens in a 2 br lock out and had plenty of space. Two smaller children would have made it a bit cozier, but definitely still acceptable. Enjoy your trip!

The sleeper sofas at BCV are much more comfortable than the ones at OKW (with the ones at BCV, they flip from the back and the cushions help support the foot of the bed - cushions don't come off). Much better mattress.

Yes, they are OK with it. My mom, sister and grandma are pretty tiny, my brother will probably get his own bed and mom/sister together and grandma and maybe 6 yr old in a bed. Good to know that the sleeper sofas are comfy! I was starting to get nervous the closer to the trip it got lol

Just to add, getting a dedicated 2BR doesn't mean you'd have any different bed configuration. Many dedicated have the K/Q/2 sofa beds too.

Thanks Shannon, that is good to know. The only reason I waitlisted it was because I thought I might get 2 queens.

There's also the fold-out twin bed sized sleeper chair in the living room.

So, 5 beds altogether.

Only at OKW, BLT, AKV (except value rooms). The living rooms are too small at the other resorts to add the sleeper chair.
