BCV 2 Bedroom Question

I am getting totally excited for our upcoming trip (July 1-9). We have spent many, many nights (over 60) at BCV in the past, but most trips, in a studio. This time, there will be 4 of us in a dedicated 2BR. I have enjoyed reading this thread.

Okay, trying to strategize a late 2019 booking and want to make sure I have this right ... we definitely will have 5 adults, 3 mid-sized kids (11-14), plus an infant (18 months is still a Disney infant right?). Do I need a 2 bedroom lockoff or can I get a dedicated? (we'd prefer dedicated with 2 queens for 4 of the adults since I'm the owner and will take the master). So by my head count that is 8 adults and an infant.

Can we invite one more adult/tween? (They'd be fine sleeping on the floor.) Or does the infant take the 9th spot? If we can, do I have to get a lock-off to sleep 9 plus infant? I know this would work at my home resort, VGC (and BLT or AK but Epcot is our favorite resort so we want BCV). TIA.

BCV will accept 9 plus an infant.

One way to check is to just go to the online booking page and enter your group number, a date and select the resort and it will proceed if you are in the occupancy limit. If not it will tell you so. Easy! :cutie:

If you get the dedicated, you won't have the murphy bed in the second bedroom, just two queen beds. You only have beds for eight. DVC may allow a ninth person (the member website says only eight), but you'd have to bring your own airbed or cot, plus sheets, pillows, blankets, towels for the ninth person. It will only be set up for eight plus one child under the age of three.

As with all the Dedicated 2BR's that allow 9 it is on the booking page where it states that 9 are allowed. I think the other resort information page is accessible to non-members so they list what would be allowed for cash bookings there and that is limited to 8ppl.
