BCV 2 Bed at 7 months

We'd like to spend 5 nights at BCV towards the end of August 2008. We stayed there this year in a 1 bed but this time I thought we'd like to try a 2 bed.

Are 2 beds hard to get at 7 months or would be be better off sticking to a 1 bed. I'm guessing that 2 bed dedicated / 2 queens would be the hardest of all to get.

We just made reservations for a BCV 2BR for 5 nights in May 2008. I called day by day at the 7 month mark and did not have a problem. Whether August is tougher b/c more people are traveling while kids are still on vacation from school, I do not know. I do know that there were no 2BR with 2 queens in the 2nd BR when I called for our ressies. The CM did say that those are always snatched up first by owners. We were able to get a dedicated 2BR with 1 queen & 1 sleeper sofa (not a lock-off) which was our 2nd choice.

I would suggest calling day by day......good luck, hope what you're looking for is available!

We stayed in a 2 BR this past August. I had no trouble getting it at 7 months.

We just stayed at the BCV from 9/26-10/2. When I called at 7 months out to make the reservation, MS asked if I wanted the 2bd with the 2 queen beds. So you really never know. When you call to make the reservation just ask.

Great thanks - we'd prefer the 2 queens but would be happy with a dedicated. We have two children with autism and I couldn't have a lock off and risk them opening the studio door to the corridor

I'll call at 7 months and if we can't get a dedicated I'll settle for a 1 bed as we'd really love 5 nights at BCV

We couldn't get a dedicated at 7 months when we went 8/17 - 8/23. I even asked at check in just in case but not available. Step son 11 had no problem with the pull out and didn't even want to swap off with his sister for the bed.

We just booked 2 bed, 2 queen at BCV for early 6 nights in early May. Did it day by day at the 7 month mark.

I usually think day by day is a bit of overkill for May. But with all the developer points that are floating out there now -- including mine -- I thought it was advisable this time.

We were able to make reservations for 2 2Bdrm dedicated (2Q) for mid-late August 2006 at the 7-month window. My DH called day-by-day. I don't think we had reserved dedicated or 2Q but we got both, which was great as we had a family of 4 in one of the second bedrooms, and a family of 5 in the other. We didn't have any problems getting both rooms at 7 months.

There are only 25 dedicated two bedroom villas with two queen beds in the second bedroom at BCV. So the odds are really against you at 7 months.
