Hi all,

I have a one bedroom at BCV available from Sun Oct 10 for 5 nights, checking out on Friday Oct 15. We will not be using the reservation as planned and would like to rent it. Any transaction would have to be quick and completed by the sept 10 reservation cancellation date.

If you are looking for a hard to find DVC reservation adjacent to the Epcot F&W Festival this could be an excellent opportunity. Total points - 120. Cost is $1400 (Normal rack rate would be $2175 + tax). If we are unable to rent in the next few days, we will cancel and bank the points to next year.

We have rented several times prior using the DIS boards with no problems.

Use PM or email me for more information, etc. I'll be glad to provide you with additional information regarding the resort and the area.

sburris @ houston.rr.com

Thanks

Still Available. I hope this existing reservation works for someone. You can walk to and from the Food and Wine Festival.

(to the emails inquiring about date changes, I could possibly remove a day or two for a shorter stay, but the resort is almost completely booked during the F&W Festival - so I cannot add or adjust the reservation dates).

Thanks

To the few PMs/Emails that thought the rate was too high, I just don't get it. How can $11-$12 a point be a problem? Anyway, the reservation has been rented at asking price (which is a great deal!). My wife and i like the flexibility of renting when we cannot use the points ourselves, and <$12 per point is certainly reasonable. Best to everyone - and, we are Hoping Frances stears well clear of WDW!!!!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. WHEN PEOPLE THINK YOUR ASKING PRICE IS TOO HIGH AT $12 PER POINT, I JUST LAUGH. THEN THEY SHOULD JUST RENT FROM DISNEY, AND THEY CAN FIND OUT WHAT HIGH REALLY IS. I'VE HAD MORE EMAILS AT $7-$8 PER POINT OFFERS, IT'S STUPID. WHEN RETAIL IS $2200 OR MORE AND YOU CAN SAVE $1000, THAT'S NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK. IF YOU WANT TO STAY CHEAP, KISSIMMEE IS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET.

Oh, my I sure hope people don't compare a BCV one bedroom with the $39 a night econo lodge in Kissimee!! I too, agree on the price of $12 a point and have been at the price for years...

Renting at 11-12 pp is still far better than any discount you could get on the room- if any were available from CRO to book.

Is there any way to change the dates to oct 8-13? Those are my dates and this would suit me better than the 2 rooms I have currently booked at AKL.

thx
