BCV 1 Bdrm 'Tour' (Big!)

My husband has been dying to stay at BCV. We usually stay at OKW, but are going to try for BCV for our upcoming trip in May. Hope we can get in! The place looks great. I'm wondering if I should call day by day at the 7 month window or just try my luck 7 months from the check out date.
