I have a question. Sorry if I'm over analyzing things.

I have a ressie at BC (moved from AKL) I don't know much about this resort. Looking at my ressie it says Deluxe pool/water view. My question is... Is there a std water view? Is deluxe in reference to the hotel???:confused3

I know I'm way over analyzing everything. I guess that's what happens when all the planning is complete and there's still a month left until vacation.

ETA: Don't flame me! I don't care either way, I'm beyond happy with the upgrade. I just like to know all I can about our ressie.

Ok I got curious and started researching...

There is in fact a Deluxe room category at the BC... Here's something I found on the Dis FAQ resort thread:

There are two types of Junior Suites…er…Deluxe Rooms at the Beach Club. Rooms 1557, 2557, 3557 and 4557 are considered 'type A'’s…1557 has they're really big Water View rooms with two Queen-size beds, sofa and chairs, dining table, TV armoire, dresser and full bathroom just like a standard room. 1557 has an outdoor patio, 2557 has a full balcony, 3557 has a standing-room balcony, and 4557 has a full balcony.

In 'Type B' Suites, french doors separate a cozy living room with a daybed from the waterfront King master bedroom, which also has a daybed in it. There are a walk-in closet and standing-room balcony off the living room. The room numbers are: 1501, 1647, 2501, 2647, 3501, 3647 and 4647

This site will like to the floor layouts so you can see where the rooms listed above are located:

Hope this helps!

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...:hyper:

There is definitely a "Deluxe Room" category at BC. We have stayed in 4557, love the extra space of this room and fabulous balcony. The room is oversized, overlooks the quiet pool and entitles you to concierge services and lounge. If you were to be booked in a standard view room??, you would really receive an upgrade if you are now booked in a Deluxe Room! :wizard: Have a great trip.

Wow, that would be wonderful. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.:goodvibes Thanks for the info!!!!

Wow....BC deluxe!! Great upgrade. The deluxe rooms are quite a bit bigger than their std. or water view rooms. There is a separate sitting area with couch, tables, chairs. Sort of like a mini suite. You will also be concierge with a deluxe room. You'll be overlooking the quiet pool, which is the closest you can be to Epcot. Between your fabulous room and SAB, you will fall in love with this resort. Looking forward to your trip report! :)

A water view room at the BC/YC, how wonderful! We loved this resort so much! The pool is great, there are alot of food choices, and the overall resort is very relaxed and fun to be at. Have a great time.

Yes, I'll be sure to report when we get back.:goodvibes I'm so excited!!!!
