I know that they are very differant. We are going on the Disney Cruise next May. We are getting a deluxe varanda room which puts us in a deluxe resort. We stay at the Poly last Sept. Our dream vacation. We had the time of our lives. We loved the Poly. I was looking through the other resorts we can stay and the BC stood out. I have two girls 6 and 8. They are fish so they love to swim. We spend alot of time at the Poly pool or the water parks. The BC pool looks outstanding. We also spend more time at Epcot and MGM last year than I thought we would. How do you get there from BC can you walk or take a boat etc. I really like being on the monorail. We could go to all the resturaunts pretty quick and get down to Epcot fast too. I know I an rambling but we would like to try a new resort but we love the Poly. Please convince me that the BC would be worth the stay. Thank you

The BC is worth a visit. If your kids like to swim, the BC has the BEST pool on the property. Storm Along Bay is like being at a water park. The BC also has quick access to both MGM and EPCOT which makes the location great. I also should mention that being so close to the Boardwalk is a huge plus.

I agree with HBC. We stayed at the BC and this year we are goin back to Polynesian. Like the convenience of 24 hr snack bar with refillable mugs and the laid back feel of the Poly. BCs location cant be beat though

We have been staying at the Beach Club since our kids were 3 & 4 yrs old (they are 13 & 15 now). I probably don't need to say this BUT it is by far our favorite and we have stayed in all but a few of WDW resorts. The Beach Club is a fantastic resort. The experience starts when you walk in the front door - being met by Art (the resort's official greeter) makes you feel as if you are the most important person in the world. The rooms are great - ask for a corner room they have (or at least seem to have) a little more space. My favorite part of the day- enjoying a cup of coffee in the lobby with my USA Today in the morning - and the people watching ain't bad either. The lobby always seems to buzz with activity.

The pool is by far the best on property - it is almost like a water park - slide, swirling water, beach area, "sinking sand", lazy river, games for the kids in the afternoon, and my favorite part - Hurricane Hannah's (enjoy an adult beverage(or two) in the middle of the day). Your girls will love it! There is also a Quite Pool - if you must. A stroll around the resort grounds is an experience in itself - the plants are beautiful. If you are up for other water sports, there are Water Mice, and a ride on Breatheless (a turn of the century reproduction speed boat) is loads of fun. Not cheap - but FUN! (I say it is better than an E-Ticket, my kids agree). Oh, and our kids love the Arcade.

How about convenience? In my opinion, it doesn't get in better. The back gate of Epcot in 5-7 minutes depending on where your room is. MGM is a boat trip or 12-15 minute walk (our choice, you always beat the boat). The Boardwalk is 3-5 minutes or a boat, if you want. Other parks and resort areas are a bus ride away.

Restaurants? Cape May has a New England Clam Bake Buffet - in as many times as we have stayed there ,we have never tried it - but it sure smells good. The Yacht Club Galley is in the Yacht Club - good breakfast buffet, if you don't want to Character Breakfast at Cape May. Beaches and Cream for a burger, dog or chicken sandwich at lunch & something sweet just before bed. But the BEST is The Yachtsman Steakhouse. Yum - Yum!!! The fresh bread and roasted garlic with butter is to die for - the Filet will melt in your mouth and the service is fantastic!!! It is very kid friendly - my son has never forgotten our first visit there - he was doing his best to cut his own steak (he was probably six) the waiter came over and gave him a quick lesson in cutting his steak. A must!

Are you convinced yet? I could go on - but I've probably said enough. You will not go wrong at the BC. Have fun!!

Wow, Uncle Al, That had to be the most convicing page for the BC I have ever heard. I think that we are going to stay at the BC. I like going back to the same vacation spot. But I do like staying in differant resorts. And this is Disney. I bet every place is a special place for anyone. I think that the BC will be a wonderful place to stay. Thank you agian

Thanks, Uncle Al, for that glowing recommendation! I have been reading all the mixed reviews about Beach Club and worrying that I had made a mistake booking there. I know my teenagers will love the pool, and we will love the location. And nice to see another NW Floridian here!

Uncle Al.. you have convinced me!

I just switched us from the Dolphin for 9 nights to the BC for 7 nights (but with UPH instead of 5dPHP) and have been questioning myself ever since!

You have made a beleiver out of me, and we will think of you when that filet melts in our mouths!
