For our family, it's definately the BC. The ease of walking in and out of EPCOT, the Ferry to MGM and SAB -- what more could one aske for? We love to dine late in the evening at EPCTO and then practically have the entire park to oneself when exiting International Drive. Location, Location, Location!

Hi, NJ2Boardwalk!

Tough choice, and I'd have to answer "it depends." Is your party all adults? Small children? Where will you spend most of your time? More details would help others advise you to your individual situation.

I agree with the "location, location, location" arguement above, but for this very same reason, we always choose the POLY! We love the proximity to the MK and TTC; the monorail access is just awesome, and the buses have always been very efficient in our experience. We enjoy World Showcase also, but we don't find it too inconvenient to walk through FW to the Epcot Monorail and walk from TTC to our room.

We also much prefer the theme of the Poly. The Epcot resort area is really lovely, but we spend every summer weekend at the Jersey shore, so we look for something "different" when we're in WDW. Beach Club to us looks and feels like every beach house we're ever rented. Which is great, if you're looking for that kind of thing. The pool at the BC/YC is best on property, but we also adore the Volcano pool. The slide is great and the view and landscaping are, in our opinion, beyond compare at WDW. We all have different tastes. I HATE chocolate ice cream, but I try to keep an open mind and imagine that others are not totally crazy to like it!

Enjoy making your decision! Aloha.

Parts of the poly are run down. It also depends on what park you want to be closer to.....Epcot...or MK? The great thing about the poly is that you can hop on the monorail.

Beach club is newer, nicer, and there are more things to do there when the parks close.

Actually the Poly just went through a major rehab, and after staying there in January I can speak from personal experience that it was not at all rundown looking.

I've never actually stayed at the BC, but I have stayed at the YC and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I think it depends what time of year you're going and the ages of the people in your party. If you're traveling with younger children I would stay at the Poly. If you're going during a warmer time of the year with at least older children I would go with BC.

I finally made my decision and went with the Beach Club. We have a water view ressie with an AP discount....I am very excited, now i have to go change my intinerary. Hope i made the right choice.
