We always stay at the YC or BC-this will be our 9th time at either of those resorts in 2008 :) Anyway, I was going to use the AAA rate to book for next August and I discovered that if I change my date so we arrive on a Wednesday, the BCV are actually LESS than the BC or YC (YC w/ AAA discount is $50 more than BC no matter what date we choose but the BCV studio is usually more $$$ than the BC but for these dates, it's actually slightly cheaper :confused3 )I've never stayed in the BCV~is there really much of a difference in the rooms other than a microwave?? I know DVC members only get mousekeeping services every 3 days-is it the same for non-DVC members staying in a DVC villa? Thanks in advance
:goodvibes

The biggest difference to me is the bedding. In a studio there will be one queen and one sleep sofa. I should really know if it is a queen or double sleeper but someone else will.:confused3

The refrigerator is larger in a studio but still an undercounter type although it does have a decent mini freezer.

Most people probably prefer the views at the BC but I prefer BCV views over all but the woods views of BC. Probably a little different that way.;)

You will have daily mousekeeping if booked through WDW DRC. Oh, no newspaper though.

The pool by DVC is quite a bit larger than the Y&BC leisure pools.

BVC23 said it well. I've stayed in both numerous times and enjoy them both equally. I've had lagoon views at the BC and Epcot/wooded views at BCV. Both great!

If you are really interested in BCV, I say rent points. When we go, we go Sun-Fri and pay $120/night (no tax, no daily housekeeping & price is about $100/night more on weekends). When I used to stay at the BC, it was $275 minumum each night. You'll definitely save money no matter what. More details on the DVC boards.

But be careful, you may end up buying into DVC and stayed at the BCV from here on out!

Got to agree with BCV23. I'd stay in a BCV studio anytime, even if it were slightly more than YC/BC.

If you pay cash, booking with Disney, you do get full resort services like daily housekeeeping.
