BC Concierge room question

Some of you helped me on another thread - here's another question. We currently have a standard room reserved at the BC for our trip in 3 weeks  ::yes:: :earseek: !! I was toying with switching to a BWI concierge room for the added space and concierge service. Youngest DS has his heart set on the BC, though. Now thinking of BC concierge vs. 2 connecting standard rooms at the BC for the 5 of us (including 3 teens).
What views do the garden-view concierge rooms have at the BC? How would you all rate the concierge lounge? (We have been spoiled by the tremendous concierge lounge at the AKL).
This is our 20th anniversary trip (with the kids tagging along  ). Want things to be special.
Thanks again for any help/advice.

The concierge lounge at the BC is very small. We preferred the lounge over at the BWI.

I'd do the BWI CL over the BC CL any day.

Here's a link for all my pics of my latest stays at various concierges.

You can look at the BWI and BC pics and make your decision.

Either way...have a fabulous 20th at WDW!!!:sunny:

I have stayed at both and would choose the BWI. The standard view rooms at the BC concierge can overlook the entrance, not much of a pretty view, this is what I had. The BWI standard view is the area over the garden suites and the quiet pool, much prettier to look at. The lounge at the BC is very small and not as warm and inviting as the BWI. So, I guess you could say my choice would be the BWI !!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I love the concierge at the BWI. The garden suites are our favorite rooms in all of Disney.

I haven't decided yet but I think we may try the Yacht Club concierge for our trip this September.

I'll be there tomorrow--will post about our experiences for you :)

We stayed at Poly LVC and BC Garden Concierge in March.

We were spoiled rotten by the Polynesian Concierge !

Everything was awesome!

On to the Beach Club...

The biggest "problem" (and it really wasn't a big deal) was that our "garden" view at BC was literally directly above the front entrance gazebo thing.

There wasn't a balcony really, just a railing to lean on.(IF you felt like watching the valets/bellhop CM's working!)

But, I was pleasantly surprised at the courtesy/helpfulness of the concierge staff at the BC desk only.

The CM's at the VERY small concierge lounge seemed to super-monitor my three boys (11,9,8 at the time) and didn't seem to welcome our asking for cans of sodas. (They are not out in the lounge, you have to ask) I thought the food samplings to be somewhat sparse comparable to Poly, but they were tasty and seemed to have something for everyone. I seemed to arrive at the lounge when it was just lemonade and salsa & chips out all the time though.

Another strange though, looking back, is that the BC felt really big compared to the Poly! Maybe it is just a poor sense of direction on my part, but the trip from my room to Pool/Beaches & Cream seemed to take forever!

To summarize, I think if I redid the trip at BC I would opt for connecting rooms and NOT for concierge. I still like the resort, but the convenience of the extra room and the ability to get a bite to eat at Beaches, I would forego the concierge.

sorry bout the ramble.....

Now after seeing Bambi's Pictures, I think I was just a couple of doors down from there!!
